Second Mission Trip – 2024

Introduction 

 In May 2024, Mahanaim Missions embarked on its second mission trip to Tarkwa Banso, a small town in the western part of Ghana. Following the success of our first mission in 2023, we returned to continue the work of evangelism, discipleship, and humanitarian aid. This trip was not only a continuation of spreading the gospel but also an opportunity to fulfill our promise of supporting the local schools and providing medical care to the community.

Evangelism and School Outreach:  

Just as during our first visit, we took to the streets to evangelize, sharing the gospel with individuals in their homes, marketplaces, and gathering places. Many were eager to hear the message of Christ, and several people committed to follow Him. A significant part of our mission was revisiting the schools we had visited the previous year. We shared the gospel once again with the children, reinforcing the teachings of Christ in their hearts. More importantly, we fulfilled our promise by donating computers and books to enhance their learning experience. The students and teachers expressed deep appreciation for this gesture, as these resources would greatly improve education in the schools.

Medical Outreach:

This year, we expanded our humanitarian efforts by providing free medical care and medications to the community. We hired doctors and nurses to assist in diagnosing and treating various illnesses. Many residents, who had previously little or no access to healthcare, received much-needed medical attention alongside medications to improve their well-being. This aspect of the mission was a great blessing, as it demonstrated the love of Christ in a practical way.
