Founding

Founded in 2017, Mahanaim City Church is a dynamic spirit-filled multicultural church led by Reverend Frederick Wireko and wife Lady Priscilla Wireko.

The burden for lost souls and to feed them with the undiluted word of God for proper spiritual growth was upon them and through prayer and the obedience to God’s voice the church was started. The fulfilment of God’s calling has brought great transformation to the lives of many who sit under the grace of the church.

The name of the church was received from the revelation of the word of God in Genesis 32:1. Mahanaim means ‘the camp of God’ or ‘the camp of His presence’.

The man of God was inspired by this name to see the presence of God fill lives and more importantly our cities, and therefore named the church ‘MAHANAIM CITY CHURCH’.

God is moving, He is changing lives and destinies, and it is time to experience the presence of God in your life. Be sure to worship with us and you will never be the same again!
