MAHANAIM MISSIONS

OVERVIEW

Mahanaim Missions: Spreading the gospel of Jesus with practical love and care.

“The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,” (Acts‬ 1‬:1‬ NKJV‬‬)‬‬‬‬‬

Three years ago, Mahanaim Missions was founded with a powerful vision: to share the gospel of Christ Jesus and bring hope to communities through outreach and crusades. Rooted in faith and driven by compassion, this mission is more than just a movement—it is a calling to uplift the lives of the less privileged by providing not only spiritual nourishment but also tangible support in education and healthcare. From remote villages to urban centers, Mahanaim Missions has been reaching hearts and changing destinies, ensuring that those in need experience both the love of Christ and practical care. Whether through evangelistic crusades, educational sponsorships, or medical aid, the mission stands as a beacon of light, embodying the true essence of Christian service. Join us as we explore the incredible journey of Mahanaim Missions—its impact, testimonies, and the unwavering commitment to spreading the good news while transforming lives, one soul at a time.

“Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need.” (Acts‬ 4‬:32‬-35‬ NKJV‬‬)‬‬‬‬‬‬

Mahanaim Missions’ First Mission Trip – May 2023

 Introduction

In May 2023, Mahanaim Missions embarked on its first mission trip to Tarkwa Banso, a small town in the western part of Ghana. The trip was a step of faith, aimed at sharing the gospel of Christ, reaching out to the less privileged, and supporting the community through spiritual and physical aid. With months of preparation, including correspondence with local community leaders and pastors, our team set out to bring the light of Christ to the people of Tarkwa Banso.

Community Engagement and Evangelism: Upon arrival, our team dedicated the first few days to street evangelism, sharing the message of salvation with individuals in their homes, on the streets, and in marketplaces. The response was

welcoming, as many listened with open hearts, some surrendering their lives to Christ on the spot. Additionally, we visited several schools in the town, engaging children with the gospel in a simple and relatable way. Through songs, stories, and interactive teaching, we planted the seed of Christ’s love in their hearts, praying that it would grow and bear fruit in their lives.

Humanitarian Support Beyond spiritual outreach:  Mahanaim Missions sought to meet some of the pressing physical needs of the community. We identified 90 widows and orphans who were in dire need of assistance and provided them with foodstuffs and basic supplies. It was a touching moment as many expressed deep gratitude, some even moved to tears, thanking God for the timely support.

Crusades and Miracles: The highlight of the mission trip was the two-night crusade held at the town center. The atmosphere was charged with expectancy as people gathered in numbers to hear the word of God. Each night, the message of salvation and deliverance was preached with power. By the end of the crusades, about 240 people gave their lives to Christ, marking a great harvest for the Kingdom of God. In addition, the presence of God was evident as many experienced healing and deliverance from various ailments and spiritual bondages. Testimonies of transformation and breakthroughs poured in, confirming that the Lord was at work in Tarkwa Banso.

Conclusion

After spending seven days in Tarkwa Banso, the mission came to a fulfilling end. Souls were won, lives were touched, and the love of Christ was demonstrated both spiritually and physically. The experience reinforced our commitment to the Great Commission and inspired us to continue reaching more communities with the gospel. As Mahanaim Missions looks forward to future outreaches, we remain grateful to God for the success of this first mission trip and to everyone who supported in various ways. May the Lord continue to bless the seeds sown in Tarkwa Banso and bring about lasting transformation in the lives of those reached.

To God be the glory!
